Ingredients
  

For the burger patties

  • 1.5 lb ground chuck Can substitute with ground turkey
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For serving

  • 6 pieces Hamburger buns Toasted
  • 1 cup Lettuce For topping
  • 1 medium Tomato Sliced
  • as needed Mustard For topping
  • as needed Mayo For topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Divide mixture into six equal parts and form into patties. Make a small dimple in the center of each patty.
  • Preheat grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Grill the patties until they reach your desired doneness. Use the following temperature guidelines: Medium-rare: 130-135°F, Medium: 140-145°F, Well-done: 160°F.
  • Place the patties on toasted buns and top with lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, or any preferred toppings.

Notes

These burgers are customizable and can be made ahead for meal prep. Leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
