  • 1 loaf loaf of pull-apart bread Any nice loaf can be used if pull-apart isn't available.
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced Can substitute with chicken, turkey, or mushrooms for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded Mozzarella or cheddar can be used as alternatives.
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season generously to taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes).
  • Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Slice the pull-apart bread lengthwise and carefully push apart each section.
  • Fill the bread with the steak mixture and top with provolone cheese.
  • Place the filled bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve warm and enjoy every bite!

Notes

You can prep the filling a day in advance and store it in the fridge. These breadsticks freeze well, allowing for quick meal options. Kids can help assemble their own with favorite ingredients.
