  • 1-2 teaspoons Truffle oil Start with a small amount; it's potent.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated or shaved; freshly grated recommended.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs E.g., parsley or chives.
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly ground preferred.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven or air fryer according to the fry package instructions, usually to 400–425°F.
  • Spread the fries in a single layer and cook until crispy, according to package directions, usually 15–25 minutes.

Flavoring the Fries

  • Remove the fries from the oven or air fryer and pour them into a big bowl.
  • Drizzle the fries with 1-2 teaspoons of truffle oil and toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese while the fries are still hot.
  • Add fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For extra crispiness, cook the fries a few minutes longer than the package suggests. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated in an air fryer or hot oven.
